Luke has over 15 years of experience in talent acquisition, primarily focused in the healthcare industry. As a recruiter at The Nautical Group, he is committed to delivering top talent to our clients. Luke joined the team in 2018 as a recruiter dedicated to a healthcare system in eastern North Carolina; he’s also worked for some of the highest-rated hospitals in the world, including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Northwell Health. Along with healthcare, Luke has recruited for industries such as skilled trades, government, finance, real estate, and construction.
Throughout his career, Luke has prioritized candidate experience and engagement. He created a new recruitment platform, OppoMed, which was selected as a strategic partner of the North Carolina Healthcare Association. He has served on the health careers advisory board of Brunswick Community College since 2018 and was committee co-chair for the National Association for Healthcare Recruitment from 2020-2022.
Luke holds a bachelor’s degree from Millikin University and a certification in Human Resources. Prior to recruiting, Luke’s first love was music. He was an endorsing artist for one of the largest guitar manufacturers in the world and played with several emerging acts. He grew up in Illinois and has lived in North Carolina for almost 10 years.
