Yates Baker

Yates is President and COO of the Nautical Group, where he leads client delivery and firm management.

Prior to joining the Nautical Group, he held senior leadership roles at Chasm Partners, Sevenstep, KellyOCG, and IBM Kenexa, building deep expertise in recruitment process outsourcing and talent solutions.

Yates earned his degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Appalachian State University. A Raleigh native, he lives with his wife and two children. He enjoys spending time outdoors—often fishing, boating, or exploring the Boone area—and never misses a chance to cheer on App State football.
